Our Romantic Anniversary Dinner

Happy Thursday! I hope your week has been great.  Today I wanted  to share some of our wedding anniversary pictures with you.  Last Sunday, my hubby arranged for us to have a romantic dinner at the very place where we had our wedding reception.  I was so excited when I found out that they set up a table for us to have the whole banquet room to ourselves.  How great was that??? The restaurant is right on the bay and has the most spectacular  views.  So when we arrived they had a table set up for us right by the windows so we could get an even better view.  They had the rest of the room set up for an event but I still could remember how it looked the night of our wedding with the lights and the dance floor.  Plus the left side of the room is nothing but windows so you can see more of this secluded bay. So as we dined we watched the sunset and it was so fabulous.  Even at night all the lights from the surrounding buildings cast a lovely glow on the water. Since I stil

Anniversary Projects

I loved making this layout and card in celebration of our wedding anniversary we just celebrated.  This picture was on my craft table for a while and I couldn't figure out what to do with it. Then after some days of sitting and also watching the "Seeing Double" challenge over at Two Peas, inspiration hit me.   Our wedding colors were red and silver so I used the various embellishments to tie it all together. I created the flowers with my Spellbinder dies and some leftover Christmas paper from Anna Griffin. Doesn't it look like the picture is on a bed of red roses? Just love how it turned out.   Also, I added the satin silver ribbon, the bling swirls and dots and the black glitter stickers for 7th yr.  For the title label, I stamped and heat embossed.         On the card, I used the same elements and rounded the corners. The inside paper housed my heart felt sentiments and a the same picture in red.      I made the frame with two Sp

Christmas Scrapbooking

Hope 2013 is going well for you all so far. I have been in scrapbook heaven creating lots of pages. It's been a while since I have done this but it felt so good. Also, since I had so much Christmas patterned paper left, it felt nice to use some of it up. These pages center around Christmas trees.  We enjoy decorating our tree but we saw some spectacular ones on our vacation. So sit back and enjoy the trees.   I used Anna Griffin patterned paper on all these layouts.  Also used my Lucky 8 paper puncher to create the dollies.     Love making these flowers with my Spellbinder dies.   Hand cut the berry stem and frame. Love the weaving at the top.     I used K & Co frame, hand cut the flowers and distressed the white with brown ink. I must tell you about this "Giant Beauty" Christmas Tree. For a few years, I have been wanting to see this tree. I was so excited to finally see it and it was spectacular! I found out it is the tallest
