NEW Video: Washi Tape Circle Tutorial

If you love washi tape, raise your hand!  In today's blog post, I am sharing my NEW YouTube tutorial video on how to make a washi tape circle background.  Link Here  This video features a look at the supplies I used, a tutorial and the cute story behind our picture. I saw this fun circle sketch on the "Sketchy Saturday" June 6th challenge over at  Two Peas Refugees and had to try it. The sketch used a circle as the background. With all the washi tape I have now, I decided to make my circle with various patterns and colors of tape. It turned out so pretty and that's when I thought this would make a fun tutorial video. Take a look! Supply list is in the description box of the video. Here are a few more pictures of this resourceful project. Circle made with Heidi Swapp & Jen Hadfield washi tapes. Loved adding brown ink to edges and crinkling up the flowers for some texture. I distressed the edge of the circle to create dimension. Love

NEW VIDEO: My Traveler's Journal Tutorial

Happy Tuesday! What a crazy year 2020 has been. With all the emotional ups and downs, journaling has been a source of comfort for me. This year, I started using traveler's journals and I love the style. It allows me to use my scrapbook supplies and imagination to create some expressive pages. This video was inspired by a friend Liz who gave me the idea. Thanks Ms. Liz! My new tutorial video featured supplies I use, an inside look, how I create a page and my thoughts on the recent racial injustice and the positive improvements. Take a look! Here are a few of the pictures from the video. Supplies are from Joann.com and Amazon.com. (Shopping list is in the description box of the video.) I started to rewrite the right page for the video but I am glad I didn't. Mistakes are welcomed in my journal! Now I can say, what a great year to journal! We are living in a special historic time and I want to document these moments in writing. I encourage you to wr

My NEW Mini Journal Tutorial Video

Today's post is about a super cute mini journal album. I was inspired to make this project after I watched Mark Montano's YouTube Mini Art Journal tutorial. He always does great crafts and I had to try this one. Check out his  YouTube Channel  and his  Website . Here is my NEW YouTube tutorial video. The journal size is 2 1/2 x 3 inches. All you need is some cardboard, glue, lots of patterned paper and scissors/paper trimmer. These little booklets are a fun way to document your thoughts and pictures. Also, your kids would love this! Take a look! I had a ball making this album and I had to make a few more. This one was a little larger and that was a fun challenge! You can used up some of your stickers, scraps of paper and other supplies to fill up these little books. I hope you will give it a try. Thanks for visiting and have a good day.
