Gnomes & Julie Nutting Doll Christmas Cards

Hi guys! I have some more Christmas card ideas for you in two NEW and quick YouTube videos! In these tutorials, I shared how I created my own Gnomes and how I used Julie Nutting's doll stamps on my cards. They are both fun ideas. Let's look at the Gnomes! I printed images to make a template for these 6 x 6 sized cards. Then, I traced them on my card base and on patterned paper to make their body and the hats. Finally, I painted them and added their cut out hats. So cute! I hope you give them a try. Used Kaisercrafts patterned paper. Here is the video tutorial "Christmas Cards & Gnome Tutorial with Paper, Paint & Pen."  Link Here The next video is featuring Prima's Julie Nutting doll stamp. I just loved making cards with her. I make two sizes, 5 x 7 and a slimline style. I bought this stamp from Demali Handcrafts.  Demali Handcrafts Here Here is the video tutorial "Julie Nutting Doll & Christmas Cards Tutorial."  Link Here The stamp is called

Christmas Cards & Sassy Stencil Girls- Tutorial Video Part 2 of 3

I have been having fun making these cute gals for my YouTube video series, "Christmas Cards and Sassy Stencil Girls." Today's video is part 2 of 3 where I shared how to make clothes for these girls with patterned paper. Check out the video here! This would be a fun family activity, too.  Click HERE The key to these cards is to trace the girl twice. Once on the card base or background and the second on the patterned paper you want to use for the outfit. Here are the supplies I used. You could use watercolors, colored pencils or markers instead of paint. This is the card I made in the video. Which sentiment do you like best the green or the red? I think I will go with the green. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this tutorial video. Have a great day!

Christmas Cards & Sassy Stencil Girls Tutorial Video Part 1 of 3

Have you all started your Christmas/holiday cards yet? I have been working on mine for a few weeks now which I am celebrating.  I haven't worked on cards this early in a while. Over the last few years, I have been in a rut and needed some fresh ideas to try. So it feels good to be able to try something different this Christmas. In my NEW YouTube video tutorial, I shared how I made my cards with my Sassy Stencil Girls. This is a 3 part series where I will show three different ways to add these cute images to your holiday cards.  Aren't they cute? :) You could use any type of image like Santa, Christmas tree, or ornament. Just print them out from the computer or use a die cut or stamp and just color it in. I used acrylic paints but you could use markers or colored pencils. Video Link Here Here are a few pictures from the video. Check it out! I hope you will check out all three parts to this series. Maybe give it a try. I think your kids and grandkids would enjoy this activity, to

Celebrate Your Brave- NEW YouTube Video

2020 has been a very stressful year for all of us. Our families have faced fears and instability like never before.  But did you know you are brave? Do you celebrate the courageous things you do? Well, meet "Hello Brave" in my new YouTube video series "Story Time With...". She was created in 2018 and has a message of recognizing and celebrating your acts of bravery large and small. Also, in this video I shared how she was made and my life lessons.  Take a look at this inspirational story.  VIDEO LINK HERE Our lives are full of opportunities to exhibit bravery and I created this art to encourage me to celebrate the daily hard things I do and not take it for granted.  Join me in celebrating your brave. I believe you are the one to define it in your way and time. It is your decision but whatever you do, stop and tell yourself, "I DID IT!" I hope you enjoy this message and are inspired to celebrate your brave because... YOUR BRAVE IS BEAUTIFUL !
