I hope you can feel the chill vibes, too. Recently, I had a lightbulb moment about why I love painting hair. One of the reasons is because it is so meditative, relaxing and mindful. Merry Christmas! A few days ago, I wanted to make some art for my home. Since, I have been doing a lot of watercolor  art journaling pages  and YouTube videos ,  I thought I would use that style for this painting. In addition to watercolors, I used my acrylic paint markers for the ornaments and headpiece. Then, I used red glitter on her top. This "celebrate" girl is encouraging us to celebrate the birth of Christ and think about all the good He offers us. If you need comfort and peace this season, He is here for us. Also, she is inspiring us to celebrate ourselves and all the big and small things we did throughout the year. Give yourself the gift of appreciation. You are doing a great job, really! Happy Holidays! While we are in the season of celebration, I thought I would share this fun curly hair tutorial.  In this beginner friendly video, I shared how to make these fluffy black curls for this art journal style page. Also, in the tutorial you will see how I finished her face and added glitter to her top. I just love the way she turned out in this celebratory look.
