Christmas Scrapbooking

Hope 2013 is going well for you all so far. I have been in scrapbook heaven creating lots of pages. It's been a while since I have done this but it felt so good. Also, since I had so much Christmas patterned paper left, it felt nice to use some of it up.

These pages center around Christmas trees.  We enjoy decorating our tree but we saw some spectacular ones on our vacation. So sit back and enjoy the trees.

I used Anna Griffin patterned paper on all these layouts.  Also used my Lucky 8 paper puncher to create the dollies.

Love making these flowers with my Spellbinder dies.

Hand cut the berry stem and frame.

Love the weaving at the top.

I used K & Co frame, hand cut the flowers and distressed the white with brown ink.

I must tell you about this "Giant Beauty" Christmas Tree. For a few years, I have been wanting to see this tree. I was so excited to finally see it and it was spectacular! I found out it is the tallest Christmas tree in the USA.  When I stood next to the presents they were almost as tall as me. Geez! Here is a website about this beauty. Fashion Island Christmas Tree

Now That I am finished with these scrapbook layouts, I want to make some more. LOL! Maybe I will get some new pictures and ideas soon.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Relaunch of Our Business

Kelly & Ron Roberts Today, Ron and I are announcing the relaunch of our K. Simone Designs business. For those of you that are new to our work and site, click   ABOUT US   for more information.   In short, we started our business selling my handmade greeting cards in 2011. We sold and donated lots of cards and enjoyed bringing smiles to our customer's faces. In 2019, we took a long break. Since then, art has become my main interest and I have been drawing, painting and improving my skills. Art has been a wonderful outlet and joy for me and I have loved encouraging others with these creations.  So now K. Simone Designs will focus on our Inspired Art business. Our greeting cards are on hold for now but they are still apart of our brand. Also, I will continue to create YouTube papercrafting videos and add more resources to my arts and crafts directory. Our goal with all these creative products is to inspire others with love, hope, joy and peace. Here are so...

Our Romantic Anniversary Dinner

Happy Thursday! I hope your week has been great.  Today I wanted  to share some of our wedding anniversary pictures with you.  Last Sunday, my hubby arranged for us to have a romantic dinner at the very place where we had our wedding reception.  I was so excited when I found out that they set up a table for us to have the whole banquet room to ourselves.  How great was that??? The restaurant is right on the bay and has the most spectacular  views.  So when we arrived they had a table set up for us right by the windows so we could get an even better view.  They had the rest of the room set up for an event but I still could remember how it looked the night of our wedding with the lights and the dance floor.  Plus the left side of the room is nothing but windows so you can see more of this secluded bay. So as we dined we watched the sunset and it was so fabulous.  Even at night all the lights from the surroundin...

Happy Hearts

Today I will be sharing one a several painting I recently finished. This one is one of my favorites. I wanted to try two faces and just love how they turned out. It was fun going crazy with the multi-colored background. The hearts were made using my new favorite thing to make from toilet paper rolls- STAMPS.  I saw them on Julie Balzer's blog. Toilet Paper Tube Stamps  Then I used my fingers to paint the inside of the hearts. So neat! Take a look and I hope you feel the love and joy in this piece. Aren't the afro's fabulous!!! LOL! They were my first try and look pretty darn good. The little girls afro puff is so cute and reminds me of the ones I had as a child.   I love the hearts on their clothes. I used my stencil to make the design then painted around just to show the insides. Hope you enjoyed and come back this week to see some other paintings. Have a good one!
