Just Be Layout

Hope your week has been good. I had some computer problems and so glad to be back online. It is so amazing hooked we are to technology.  I did good after a few days of no computer but if I have to good any long, boy that would of been tough!!! LOL!

Well, I still have the scrapping bug.  This layout was inspired by the "Scrap Your Stash" challenge over at Two Peas.  The challenge was to use envelopes on a page. I had a ball finally using these envelopes I had sitting forever.  The bad news was because my computer wasn't working, I missed the deadline to submit this but maybe next time.

"Just Be" is my personal theme and wanted to make an inspiration page to encourage me.  I journaled in all the white envelopes inspirational thoughts for me. Yes, and these pics are of me. So cool for me to see me at two different time periods and how far I have grown. Oh, I need to hang this up so I can see it everyday.

Take a look!

Used Echo Park patterned paper, Crazy 8 circle punch, American Girls flowers, bling, Me & My Big Ideas envelopes, vellum envelope, and black heat embossed chipboard letters.

I just loved using these bright and happy flowers and colors.

These letters were brown but I added black glitter embossing powder, heat and that was it. So pretty!

Hope you enjoyed this very personal layout. Thanks Two Peas for the challenge.

Vintage Love is Here

I love making greeting cards for Valentine's Day. When my husband and I were dating, he started a tradition of giving each other cards for special occasions. I hadn't been a big card person then but after he started giving me so many great cards, I loved it. I loved giving as much as receiving them. Valentine's Day was one of the best times to get a wonderful card from him. So you can say, he is one of the reasons I got into card making. I loved that feeling of receiving a card from someone I loved and loved me. So with that in mind, we are happy to introduce our "Vintage Love" Collection . I enjoyed creating a daytime and night time versions of these cards. I love the variety that came from my limited supplies. If you need a special card for your loved ones, they will be available in our Etsy store (  www.kellyron.etsy.com   ) for $5.00 each plus shipping and handling . Also, if you would like us to type your expressions on the inside of the card or a organ...

Live Forward

Happy October to all! I am getting ready for the holidays already and hope to have some Christmas cards to share soon. While I am in card mode and am still enjoying creating faces and painting. Here is one of the last ones I did called, "Live Forward." Just a reminded to keeping looking ahead in life. Driving like life is supposed to be done by looking through the windshield not the rear view window. (Oh, that is a good one. LOL!) Also, I loved using strips of patterned paper in the background. Then painted over them with layers of colors and then added stamps and that face. Isn't she pretty? I am so proud I am learning to draw profiles. They have been hard to do but I am starting to get it. Take a look! Thanks for looking and hope you have a terrific day!

Our Romantic Anniversary Dinner

Happy Thursday! I hope your week has been great.  Today I wanted  to share some of our wedding anniversary pictures with you.  Last Sunday, my hubby arranged for us to have a romantic dinner at the very place where we had our wedding reception.  I was so excited when I found out that they set up a table for us to have the whole banquet room to ourselves.  How great was that??? The restaurant is right on the bay and has the most spectacular  views.  So when we arrived they had a table set up for us right by the windows so we could get an even better view.  They had the rest of the room set up for an event but I still could remember how it looked the night of our wedding with the lights and the dance floor.  Plus the left side of the room is nothing but windows so you can see more of this secluded bay. So as we dined we watched the sunset and it was so fabulous.  Even at night all the lights from the surroundin...
