Christmas Highlight Part 4

Thanks to all of you that visited each of these four days. I enjoyed posting some of my holiday joys with you. Today is the last day and I will be sharing some scrapbook layouts I did over the last few days and weeks. Each  page includes some hidden journaling and that was fun thinking of where to put them.

Here goes!

Made the bow out of that beautiful glitter paper.

I added the tissue paper to make this look like a gift bag.

These glitter letters actually came off a gift bag and it was fun using it on a page.

Love making more of these tulle flowers.

A friend made a pocket layout for her holiday cards and I wanted to try it too. Great way to save those precious cards from family and friends.

Hope you enjoyed these layouts and my holiday highlights. Have a marvelous day!

  1. I love that you did one in blue as well as the traditional. For me blue is a traditional Christmas color as well. My hubby is colored blind (red and green lights all look like clear) so he loves to have blue lights around, so I have accepted that as part of our Christmas tradition. Your layouts are just wonderful. You and DH take wonderful photos, and it looks like you two really enjoyed yourself this holiday season.

  5. I hadn't seen the NOEL page or your Christmas card pocket page. They are just as fabulous as the other pages. I love the tissue paper sticking out of the gift bag.

Relaunch of Our Business

Kelly & Ron Roberts Today, Ron and I are announcing the relaunch of our K. Simone Designs business. For those of you that are new to our work and site, click   ABOUT US   for more information.   In short, we started our business selling my handmade greeting cards in 2011. We sold and donated lots of cards and enjoyed bringing smiles to our customer's faces. In 2019, we took a long break. Since then, art has become my main interest and I have been drawing, painting and improving my skills. Art has been a wonderful outlet and joy for me and I have loved encouraging others with these creations.  So now K. Simone Designs will focus on our Inspired Art business. Our greeting cards are on hold for now but they are still apart of our brand. Also, I will continue to create YouTube papercrafting videos and add more resources to my arts and crafts directory. Our goal with all these creative products is to inspire others with love, hope, joy and peace. Here are so...

My Birthday Blog Party

Welcome to my Birthday Blog Party! I am starting my celebration early to fully enjoy my day. My actual birthday is May 29th but why not start early right? :) When I think of birthdays past, they were always such exciting times for me. Many of my birthdays were celebrated with fun parties from my childhood to my young adult years. I loved all of those special parties and to this day, I still love it. Maybe this is where my love for event planning all started. At my 3rd birthday, my parents gave me a big one. I don't really remember but the pictures are so cool. I had lots of kids there, a clown, a little merry-go-round ride and lots of games. I had a white little outfit on and was looking so cute for a Spring party. Boy, I looked so happy! Also, I was brave not to be afraid of the clown, too. My mom was holding me as I blew the candles out. Another year, I had my first slumber party. That was so fun! I invited several friends and ...

Happy Hearts

Today I will be sharing one a several painting I recently finished. This one is one of my favorites. I wanted to try two faces and just love how they turned out. It was fun going crazy with the multi-colored background. The hearts were made using my new favorite thing to make from toilet paper rolls- STAMPS.  I saw them on Julie Balzer's blog. Toilet Paper Tube Stamps  Then I used my fingers to paint the inside of the hearts. So neat! Take a look and I hope you feel the love and joy in this piece. Aren't the afro's fabulous!!! LOL! They were my first try and look pretty darn good. The little girls afro puff is so cute and reminds me of the ones I had as a child.   I love the hearts on their clothes. I used my stencil to make the design then painted around just to show the insides. Hope you enjoyed and come back this week to see some other paintings. Have a good one!
