Christmas Party at Disneyland

Merry Christmas! This holiday season has been good so far. My hubby and I attended his job's annual Christmas party a few weeks ago. It was held at Disneyland's Grand Californian Hotel. When we walked in, it looked like a Swiss Alps chalet with lots of wooden beams. It was a sight to see. There were beautiful decorations and little twinkling white lights everywhere. It felt like Christmas all over the place. So beautiful!

    What a fun party that must have been. You two look wonderful. I love your pretty dress! I smiled at the beautiful tree and large gingerbread house. When Disney does anything, they do it all the way. So glad you had a night out and had a great time.

Our Romantic Anniversary Dinner

Happy Thursday! I hope your week has been great.  Today I wanted  to share some of our wedding anniversary pictures with you.  Last Sunday, my hubby arranged for us to have a romantic dinner at the very place where we had our wedding reception.  I was so excited when I found out that they set up a table for us to have the whole banquet room to ourselves.  How great was that??? The restaurant is right on the bay and has the most spectacular  views.  So when we arrived they had a table set up for us right by the windows so we could get an even better view.  They had the rest of the room set up for an event but I still could remember how it looked the night of our wedding with the lights and the dance floor.  Plus the left side of the room is nothing but windows so you can see more of this secluded bay. Happy Hearts

Today I will be sharing one a several painting I recently finished. This one is one of my favorites. I wanted to try two faces and just love how they turned out. It was fun going crazy with the multi-colored background. The hearts were made using my new favorite thing to make from toilet paper rolls- STAMPS.  I saw them on Julie Balzer's blog. Toilet Paper Tube Stamps  Then I used my fingers to paint the inside of the hearts. So neat! Take a look and I hope you feel the love and joy in this piece. Aren't the afro's fabulous!!! LOL! They were my first try and look pretty darn good. The little girls afro puff is so cute and reminds me of the ones I had as a child.   I love the hearts on their clothes. I used my stencil to make the design then painted around just to show the insides. Hope you enjoyed and come back this week to see some other paintings. Have a good one!
