This Saturday here in Los Angeles, a local newspaper is hosting their annual First Ladies High Tea event.  I went a few times and I had a fantastic time.  So I wanted to donate a few of my cards to this affair.  I sent four cards and here are two of the four. These cards make people so happy and I hope the ladies get a big smile on their faces when they see these beauties. Bazzill cardstock, SEI paper, Prima flower, Recollections rhinestone swirls and Three Birds word "laugh"  Bazzill cardstock, Recollections blue butterfly, blue satin ribbon from Michaels and Webster's Pages blue bloomers

Purple Reign Cards

A few days ago, I started using some of my new Webster's Pages to create these cards.  This paper is from their new Hollywood Vogue collection.  The patterns feel like the roaring 20's movie times.  Love their stuff. Some of you may want to know where I got the gold saying from.  Well a friend gave them to me and I don't know who created them but they are so nice! Feel free to leave any comments about these purple reign cards. My Mind's Eye paper, Webster's Pages paper, Prima flower and pearl swirls Bazzill cardstock, Webster's Pages paper, Prima fancy flower, and Martha Stewart punch Bazzill cardstock, Webster's Pages paper, bloomers and sparkles

My Fav Scrapbook Store

I love going to scrapbook stores. Even though I don't scrapbook I use many of the same items to create my cards. So you can imagine how sad I was when my original favorite store closed and then my second favorite closed. So for weeks I was lost not having a store to enjoy. Finally, I found out about Wooten's Scrapbook Store in Tustin. I almost did a dance when I walked in for the first time earlier this year. They have the best selection and lots of it. Every time I go there I see so much great stuff. Love this store! For more information see their website. Wooten's

My Blog Tour

Since this blog is new and still under some construction I wanted to give you all my personal tour. First we have my beautiful header and background I got from "The Cutest Blog on the Block." They have some amazing backgrounds but this one tells some of my story.  Beautiful brown butterflies flying upwards to higher heights. Love that image! Next, I have pages I have added here on the sidebar to the right. "My Cards" has a link to my Two Peas in a Bucket account where you can see my work. Two Peas is one of my favorite sites and I love posting my cards there.  I hope you enjoy seeing my card "babies." Another page is "Who Inspires Me?" I love that I could give some recognition to those who have inspired me in my creative journey.  Guess who my number one cheerleader is? Well, you will have to click over there to see. :) My last page for now is "Inspiring Music." I was raised in a musical family and surrounded by all sorts of mu
