Layout for Hubby

My darling, loving husband! What can I say? The past few weeks I haven't been feeling that well. But my hubby has been wonderful in doing what he can to making life a little easier for me. So this layout is dedicated to him. Sometimes, I wonder what did I do to get such a prize like him? Wow! We are big basketball fans and I wanted to make this page in honor of his second favorite sport. ( Of course, football is number one.) :) Take a look! Used green cs, pp abd die cuts by Bo Bunny, and chipboard flowers by Scenic Route. Loved tearing the edges of the paper and roughing up the die cuts. Very fun! Used pop dots on two of these basketballs. Thanks for looking!

Happy 1 Year Blog Anniversary

Happy Birthday "Inspired Me" ! Yes, today my blog is one year's old. I remember a year ago I was so excited to start. I wasn't sure what journey this would take me on but now I can say it has been a fantastic so far. Here is the link to my very first post. Finally My First Entry I have met so many new people. I thank you all for visiting my world and cheering for me. You all are the best! I have watched myself grow as an artist. I never thought I would be creative in this way but so glad to see that side of me emerging with more confidence and style. Here are some of the things that happened over this year: Got on my first design team at Scrapping the Moments. Won layout of the week a few times. Attended my 1st Scrapbook Expo. Won a card challenge at Papercraft Magazine. Took a super fun floral arrangement class. Played around with more painting. Started our greeting card business. Featured by L.A. Be Kelly, Be

I am so excited to share this layout with you all. I rarely do them because I don't have that many pictures I want to scrap. But this picture was so special I had to spotlight it. Over at  Scrapping the Moments , Jess has an August challenge to create a layout using the word "Be" in your title. This word means something to me because I am trying to encourage myself to just BE. Be in the moment and experience the moment. So many times I am in the past or the future stressing about stuff. Then I catch myself and have to say "Be Kelly, Be." On this day I went to church with my hubby for the first time in a long while. This church that we went to is so cool. You can hear the service outside and inside. So I chose to enjoy the experience outside on their beautiful park-like setting. I actually laid on my red blanket during some of the service and just let myself "Be." Awwwww, it was so peaceful and calm. I experienced church in a new way and I loved it. I
