My NEW Art Video

Today, I am proud to present my 2017 "Light. Love & Life" collection, featuring some of my most recent art. I am so happy to share it with you, my friends. As many of you know I am a self taught artist and just started learning to draw around 2012. Since then, I have seen my abilities grow as well as my passion. There is nothing like painting on a warm, Summer, afternoon while listening to some old tv show like "George and Gracie!" Art details- Most of the art was done with acrylic paint on 16x20 canvas. A few were done in my sketch book. I even did one with colored pencils. It was fun using different mediums and sizes. So, take a look and feel free to leave a comment.

Cards for Mother's Day

Mother's Day is almost here and I have made lots of cards for the occasion. Some were sold and others will be used for my use so that is great.   I loved all the variety of this collection. Flowers feel just right for a card for moms.  So feminine and sweet.   Enjoy looking at this collection and wishing all you mom's a fantastic Mother's Day!!!     Have a nice day all!

Valentine's Cards

Happy belated Valentine's Day. I hope it was a sweet one for you all. I just love making greeting cards for this holiday.  Nornally for Valentine's I make red and black cards which I love but this year I decided to add some pastel colored cards to my collection. Earlier this year, I made some cards with this beautiful paper pad from Michael's. I loved it so much, I just had to see if I could use it for Valentine's and they look great to me. Details:  Recollections Paper is from Michael's 6x6 paper pad called "Blush and Mint."  Flowers made with my Spellbinders scalloped circles.  Take a look! Do you feel the love? LOL! Cards are 5x7 in size. See the heart in the center? Love that idea!     Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day!

11 Years & Counting

Yesterday, my husband and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. This picture is the cover of a special photo album my father-in-law made for us. He is a great photographer and he filled this book with lots of great memories. It is hard to believe it has been 11th years since we said, "I DO." The time is just flying by. I still remember when I first met Ron.  We were students in college. He was a shy and kind young man with a full head of hair! LOL! We were briefly acquainted with each other before he transferred to another college. Also, his dad was one of my professors and of course I now tease my father-in-law and say he was the hardest teacher I had. LOL! After Ron left, we never saw each other again. Then, 16 years later, our parents randomly met each other at a conference. They had a great time chatting and getting to know each other. Later that day, his mother asked him if he remembered a girl name Kelly from college and he vividly did. A short time later h

Christmas Cards Part 3

Happy New Years to you all! Hope the year has been good to you so far. Here is part 3 of my Christmas cards. If you missed parts 1 and 2 check them out.    Part 1 Here     Part 2 Here I loved using those red velvet flowers on the previous cards but wanted to try making my own. I used my scalloped dies for three different layers. They turned out cute don't you think? LOL! "I Love Christmas" Echo Park paper collection   These were made with the stickers from the Echo Park kit. Finally, my signature red bow card. Will always love this! Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
