Mom's Birthday Card

Hey y'all. I hope you are having a great day today. My mom celebrated her birthday last Saturday. We had a great time at one of our favorite Chinese restaurants, Panda Inn. So delicious! She is definitely one of my best cheerleaders and she loves my cards. In fact in her house, she has all the cards I have given her up so everyone can see them! That makes me smile! So I had to create an extra special one for her special day. After she opened and enjoyed it, this lady who works at the restaurant walked by and saw the card. She loved it and I did a little networking at dinner! So funny! Take a look at our night and this lovely mommy card. Used cream card stock, cream embossed paper, Prima trim w/ rhinestones, Webster's Pages journal card, hand cut flowers with rhinestone used from the trim. I wish you could see it in person. So sparkling! Also love this pearlized envelope that matches the card. Gorgeous! Thanks for looking!

New Tri Fold Wedding Card

Our family friends are getting married tomorrow and I wanted to make a special card for them. I had more of this amazing pearlized paper and wanted to see what I could do with it.  Have you seen a tri-fold card? I don't remember where I saw this idea but I stumbled on to it for this card. I had some leftover cardstock and put the two pieces together and walla! Love how it turned out. I did put some work into this card. I cut out lots of flowers to use as embellishments, printed I Corinthians 13 on vellum paper and of course used the square and circle rhinestones to frame each page. My best idea was I used the grey flocked paper and ribbon from their invitation to make it extra special. I love this idea. Also, I used this delicate sheer organza envelope to present it in and added the purple flower from Prima. I know they will love this and cherish it for years to come. Take a look! New Wedding Cards

I love weddings and enjoyed making these new cards. I guess I am a sucker for a beautiful love story. :) Our new "I DO" Collection cards are amazing. Last month while we were on vacation, we went to this art store. They had these poster size sheets of exotic patterned paper from India. These papers were handmade and so unique. So when I saw this pearlized cream colored floral paper, I had to have it. Plus I got another one that I haven't used yet that looks and feels like sheer fabric but it is paper! I can't wait to use it. Our new collection will come with a beautiful sheer organza envelope or draw string pouch. Since we believe our cards are a gift, they should be presented like it. Don't you think? We can even present the card in a gift box. These cards are only $8.00 plus S&H and can be purchased on our Etsy Shop. http://www.kellyron.etsy.com/  If you would like a personalized touch, for an additional fee, we can print your expressions on the inside a

NEW Vintage Pocket Card

I love all of our new Full Bloom greeting cards but the vintage pocket cards are my favorites.  Our Etsy Shop   I can't remember where I saw this idea so I can't take credit as the originator. But whoever first did it did a great job. They are so neat. You can add a picture or journaling to the tag. Also you could put other surprises in the pocket like a gift card.  So cool!  Take a look at this one. Used Webster's Pages pp & journal card , cream cardstock, pink paper flower and green ribbon. Also used Grand Nestibilities shape. stamped and heat embossed blue sentiment and inked brown edges. I added pop dot adhesive in a "U" shape to the back of this floral shaped paper. I punched a hole on the top of this journal card. Then added my green ribbon and pink flower. The sentiment is heat embossed to give it a glossy look. We can add another sentiments if you prefer. Come visit our online store to see more about it and others. Have a great day!

More Father's Day Cards

Hello everyone! I have some more Father's Day cards to share. My mom wanted in on the action. She is an artist and a writer. After seeing the cards I made for my mother-in-law, she got an idea to use one of her pictures on some cards. I tried it out and they turned out wonderful. She loves them and I hope the fathers that receive them will feel honored. Here are a few of them. I think we make a great pair. She does the art and poetry and I do the cards. Maybe a new collection is in the making! Thanks for looking! Have a great day!

Father's Day Cards

Father's Day is quickly approaching and I actually made some special cards for the day. I had not intended on making any because I haven't had much experience with cards for men. But my mother-in-law put in a request.  So off to my local craft stores I went. I was so excited to find some paper and other supplies that had "manly" written all over them. Of course, I consulted my manly man for his input. We were happy with what we bought and how they turned out. In fact, my mom saw the ones I made and she put in an order. Awesome! I am glad she requested these cards or otherwise I wouldn't known I could do it. So, I learned that taking a challenge often leads to an awareness of hidden abilities. Next time you have a creative challenge, go for it. You may surprise yourself! Here are some of the cards I made.  Thanks for visiting! Used Simple Stories pp on brown cs, buttons, distressed paper edges with scissors and ink, and printed sentiment. Used My Mi
