Inspired Me

Happy November to everyone! I can't believe it is almost Thanksgiving. Wow! OK, well, here is the card challenge for the month. I do this challenge for Scrapping the Moments. They have many other fun activities each month. Scrapping the Moments CHALLENGE: Create a Thank You or Gratitude Card for someone special! It must include:         Fall Colors         Journaling on the inside- It could be a list of things you are thankful for or a memory. Handwritten or computer printed. Here is my sample! I just love this ribbon and gold leaf! Used blk cs, yellow cs, Teresa Collins pp, blk ribbon, Prima leaf and rub-on words.  I did "5 Reason Why I Am Thankful For You."  Hope enjoy this challenge! Oh how I loved creating this card using Echo Park's Victoria Garden. I just love the whole collection. So soft and super feminine. I started this project over a month ago and wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. But then I thought this would be a beautiful gift for my dear friend that is expecting a baby soon. So with that in mind, I turned this card into a what I call a "mini album" card. Basically two card put together. Then I added my words and pictures. That was fun. I added the embellishments- hand cut flowers from the paper, lots of bling and frames. WOW! It turned out so pretty. I know she will love this gift and treasure it for years to come. Can't wait to mail if off to her. Plus I made a few extra cards. So what do y'all think? Don't you love these strips of pink crochet? So lovely! Today is a special day for two reasons. First it the day I post my monthly card challenge over at Scrapping the Moments. Also, it is World Card Making Day. So this is a great day to make some cards. Here is some information about this world event. World Card Making Day This month's challenge is a fun one. I call it a "die cut" card. Join me over at the challenge site for more details. October Card Challenge Here is how I did mine.  I used one of my Nestabilities die and Spellbinder to create this shape in my card.   Then, I used adhesive to affix this pattern paper to the inside of the card.   Added the flower sticker and sentiment and that is it! Easy peasy!   Used pink cs, Echo Park pp and flower sticker and green ink for the sentiment. Here are a few more I made. Used yellow cs, Cosmo Cricket pp, flowers and tag and black ink for sentiment.
