I love trying new things in art. Last Summer, I started playing around with watercolor portraits in an art journaling style. I found it to be so soothing and relaxing. The more faces I painted, the better they got. Normally, I paint with acrylic paints so trying watercolors was a challenge at first. But as I gave myself permission to just experiment and play it felt as rewarding as my acrylic paintings. So, here is a video tutorial sharing my process.
