Happy Spring everyone! In today's post, I will be sharing five tips to help you draw an awesome face. When I started learning how to draw some years ago, I started with faces. My husband had a drawing book for comicbook art and superheroes. One day, I picked it up and started practice drawing female faces. I did it everyday for a while. It's almost Spring and I am ready for a new season in life and in nature. In celebration of the season, meet "Rejoice, girl!" She is a stylish 24 x 48 inch acrylic painting on canvas. This is the second largest painting I have ever made and love how she turned out. She looks like Springtime and joy doesn't she? She is the 10th and final painting in my "Butterfly Wings" Collection from 2023 and what a show stopper she is.  "Butterfly Wings" Art Collection In 2024, I was inspired to add a final piece to this collection. As I started this painting, I was feeling frustrated with her process. All the ideas I had for her weren't working out. So I stopped and took a break. A full year later in Summer 2025 that I was reinspired to try again.  This time, I had a different idea. I decided to make her a stylish woman posing in a garden with flowers and butterflies. If you love gardens and flowers, you will love my new art collection called, "Sparkling Florals, Figures and Faces." In this video, you will see 23 joyful paintings featuring flower arrangements, fashion figures and beautiful faces all set to jazzy music. I made this art in 2024-2025 with acrylic paints.
