Webster's Pages

Last month, I won a prize package from Webster's Pages. I was expecting to receive it in September but it came yesterday. I was so surprised to see all the great items I got. Check it out! This is from there new collection called "Hollywood Vogue." Just love it! I got two of each of the patterned papers, a diecut paper and those colorful Sparklers. They look like buttons without the holes, cute and sparkling.

So a special thanks to the lovely folks at Webster's Pages "InspireMe" that gave me this wonderful gift. Now I need to order some of their pretty embellishments to go with the great papers. So cool!

My Birthday Blog Party

Welcome to my Birthday Blog Party! I am starting my celebration early to fully enjoy my day. My actual birthday is May 29th but why not start early right? :) When I think of birthdays past, they were always such exciting times for me. Happy 1 Year Blog Anniversary

Happy Birthday "Inspired Me" ! Yes, today my blog is one year's old. I remember a year ago I was so excited to start. I wasn't sure what journey this would take me on but now I can say it has been a fantastic so far. Here is the link to my very first post. Finally My First Entry I have met so many new people. I never thought I would be creative in this way but so glad to see that side of me emerging with more confidence and style. Soul Sistah Painting

I love trying new things in art. It is like an adventure and a hearty challenge. So after I saw this picture of the soul singer Ledisi, I just had to try it. Love the dark eye shadow and the head tilted. So dramatic! When I first tried adding the blue eye shadow to my painting it looked cool to me. But when I had my hubby look at it he nicely told me the blue I did made her eyes look hollow! LOL! So I went back and added a lighter blue and that did it!
