Inspired Me

Well, it finally came! Ron and I had been anticipating the convention and were so excited to go on Saturday. This was our first time. Although it was very cold that day it was a beautiful sunny day. When we arrived the parking was already full so we had to figure out how we would get in. Then after a Carl's Jr. break, we braved the trek again. This time we saw here he could drop me off right in front. Yeah! Then he found some parking up close and didn't have to take a super long walk. We finally got in there and there were so many people, vendors and crop space. Plus they had classes and workshops upstairs. I definitely had sensory overload. But after a while we got through the rows. I brought a few things but my best buys were the Spellbinder dies and mats. Great price! Me & My Big Ideas was one of the most popular booths. They had boxes of packaged goodies and those ladies were going crazy. It was so thick in there you couldn't get a plate between them. :) It look...

Hi all! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day with the love of your life. Ron and had a very nice evening eating a delicious dinner from a local restaurant. While we ate, we watched the classic, Casablanca. We love those old movies and it helped make a fun evening. Plus, earlier in the afternoon, I was working on a special booklet for him. It turned out so nice.  He was happily surprised and loved all the affirmations that filled the pages. Also, I was able to finish my Valentine cards. This is my favorite holiday to create cards for. Even more exciting than Christmas. So I was trilled to see how they turned out. Plus the inside of the cards will have one of Ron's love poems and our wish.  Still finishing that part but hope to got them done tonight and mail tomorrow. Better late than never, right???? Also, I am sorry I can't remember many of the brands I used on these cards. Of course, I trashed most of the packaging. Darn it! Oh, well. Here they are...  Re...

I got some great news to announce. I was offered a position on The Moments design team! I have wanted to be on a team and was happy to get this opportunity.  At the first of the month starting March, I will give a card challenge to the active community. So this will be a fun challenge for me to stretch my skills as I inspire them. Come on over and see the announcement and my new picture and bio.
