Today, I am launching a new artist directory on my other blog, Inspired Me 411. It is an artist resource page filled of websites I have collected over the years. The page consist of 11 lists.

Stacy Bloomfield - She offers various paid and free art licensing, marketing and general art business courses. I took one of her free courses and it was excellent. She also helps you discover multiple streams of income as an artist.
Artwork Archive - They offer multiple business services and resources for artists for a monthly fee. Also, they offer free online seminars that I have attended. Their services include inventory cataloging, online invoicing, income tracking and more.
Las Laguna Gallery - I haven't submitted my work yet, but I do like that they have multiple open calls each year. Anyone who submits to one of their shows gets in the online event. Selected artist will be invited to their in-person show.
Krista Irene Art- I recently discovered her YouTube channel and love her carefree style. She teaches how to loosen up in drawing and sketching using pens and markers. Her relaxed approach has inspired me.
CaFE - This site has free national and international art open calls. Also, there are lots of interesting blog post in "CaFE Corner."

Vintage Love is Here

I love making greeting cards for Valentine's Day. When my husband and I were dating, he started a tradition of giving each other cards for special occasions. I hadn't been a big card person then but after he started giving me so many great cards, I loved it. I loved giving as much as receiving them. Valentine's Day was one of the best times to get a wonderful card from him. So you can say, he is one of the reasons I got into card making. I loved that feeling of receiving a card from someone I loved and loved me. So with that in mind, we are happy to introduce our "Vintage Love" Collection . I enjoyed creating a daytime and night time versions of these cards. I love the variety that came from my limited supplies. Live Forward

Happy October to all! I am getting ready for the holidays already and hope to have some Christmas cards to share soon. While I am in card mode and am still enjoying creating faces and painting. Here is one of the last ones I did called, "Live Forward." Just a reminded to keeping looking ahead in life. Driving like life is supposed to be done by looking through the windshield not the rear view window. (Oh, that is a good one. LOL!) Also, I loved using strips of patterned paper in the background. Then painted over them with layers of colors and then added stamps and that face. Isn't she pretty? I am so proud I am learning to draw profiles. Our Romantic Anniversary Dinner

Happy Thursday! I hope your week has been great. Today I wanted to share some of our wedding anniversary pictures with you. Last Sunday, my hubby arranged for us to have a romantic dinner at the very place where we had our wedding reception. I was so excited when I found out that they set up a table for us to have the whole banquet room to ourselves. How great was that??? The restaurant is right on the bay and has the most spectacular views. So when we arrived they had a table set up for us right by the windows so we could get an even better view. They had the rest of the room set up for an event but I still could remember how it looked the night of our wedding with the lights and the dance floor. Plus the left side of the room is nothing but windows so you can see more of this secluded bay. So as we dined we watched the sunset and it was so fabulous.
