Fall Card

Over the last month or so I made these Fall colored cards.  I have left most of them untitled so when I need to used one I will figure it out then.  So these are in my stash.  Plus adding a sentiment/title to my cards is the hardest part. I need more options of images to use.  Sometimes I will stamp the sentiment on the card and other times I want to put it on a cute tag or label.  That is when I get stuck trying to figure it out.  GHEEZ!

Maybe if my husband is reading this post, he will get me a Spellbinder machine for Christmas so I can make my own variety of tags, labels and etc. Hint Hint!

On most of the cards, I used My Mind's Eye patterned paper, Prima flowers/leaves, Maya Road trimming ribbon.  On the last one, I used Teresa Collins paper and Prima butterfly. So pretty! Enjoy!

  4. Absolutely lovely. You do BEAUTIFUL work,I can hardly imagine what you will do when you get your new tool. (by the way...I have the WIZARD and the Cuttlebug. My wizard now sits in the basement and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ease of the Cuttlebug and it is a lot more quiet too. Just my opinion --You can quite often get the Cuttlebug at Hobby Lobby or Michaels Craft stores for 40-50% off.

Relaunch of Our Business

Kelly & Ron Roberts Today, Ron and I are announcing the relaunch of our K. Simone Designs business. For those of you that are new to our work and site, click   ABOUT US   for more information.   In short, we started our business selling my handmade greeting cards in 2011. We sold and donated lots of cards and enjoyed bringing smiles to our customer's faces. In 2019, we took a long break. Since then, art has become my main interest and I have been drawing, painting and improving my skills. Art has been a wonderful outlet and joy for me and I have loved encouraging others with these creations.  So now K. Simone Designs will focus on our Inspired Art business. Our greeting cards are on hold for now but they are still apart of our brand. Also, I will continue to create YouTube papercrafting videos and add more resources to my arts and crafts directory. Our goal with all these creative products is to inspire others with love, hope, joy and peace. Here are so...

My Birthday Blog Party

Welcome to my Birthday Blog Party! I am starting my celebration early to fully enjoy my day. My actual birthday is May 29th but why not start early right? :) When I think of birthdays past, they were always such exciting times for me. Many of my birthdays were celebrated with fun parties from my childhood to my young adult years. I loved all of those special parties and to this day, I still love it. Maybe this is where my love for event planning all started. At my 3rd birthday, my parents gave me a big one. I don't really remember but the pictures are so cool. I had lots of kids there, a clown, a little merry-go-round ride and lots of games. I had a white little outfit on and was looking so cute for a Spring party. Boy, I looked so happy! Also, I was brave not to be afraid of the clown, too. My mom was holding me as I blew the candles out. Another year, I had my first slumber party. That was so fun! I invited several friends and ...

Happy Hearts

Today I will be sharing one a several painting I recently finished. This one is one of my favorites. I wanted to try two faces and just love how they turned out. It was fun going crazy with the multi-colored background. The hearts were made using my new favorite thing to make from toilet paper rolls- STAMPS.  I saw them on Julie Balzer's blog. Toilet Paper Tube Stamps  Then I used my fingers to paint the inside of the hearts. So neat! Take a look and I hope you feel the love and joy in this piece. Aren't the afro's fabulous!!! LOL! They were my first try and look pretty darn good. The little girls afro puff is so cute and reminds me of the ones I had as a child.   I love the hearts on their clothes. I used my stencil to make the design then painted around just to show the insides. Hope you enjoyed and come back this week to see some other paintings. Have a good one!
