Inspired Me

We are so excited to share our NEW "Autumn Wishes" Collection. These cards embody the colors of the season with vintage inspired prints.  I really enjoyed using Cosmo Cricket's "Circa 1934" line. Not only are the patterns bold and beautiful but all the papers where named after legendary Hollywood stars from the 1930's.  I used Ginger, Gable and Bette.  Plus, I love old classic movies so it was a win for me. Our "Autumn Wishes" Collection was inspired by my "Be" layout I did earlier this Summer. So I wanted to make some cards with a similar feel. Aww... just Be Kelly. :) So on these cards, I did some neat things.  I hand cut many of the flowers and that was fun. I even used my circle cutter on a few to try a big circle in the middle with the patterned paper showing through. They came out nice. I may try that idea again! So here are a few of them. Happy September! You know what the first of the month brings... a new card challenge. I have a new one up at Scrapping the Moments . They had a blog hop with the theme being "Back to School." So make a card for that special kid or youth wishing them a great year as they get back to school. Come on over to see more information about the challenge. Also, we have lots of other fun challenges over at Scrapping The Moments. Our design team produces some amazing work each month. Here is the card I made for this challenge. I had a little hard time making a card for a child but I had fun and stretched my skills. This is the first card I ever made for a little girl and the first card I made using a stamped and colored image. Plus, this was the first time I used a 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 size card.
