Two Design Team Positions Open

Over at Scrapping the Moments, we are looking to add two new members to the design team. Here are all the details from our leader Pat Bishop.

"I am having an open call for 2 people to join our DT @ Scrapping the Moments.
We are a small, friendly,  scrap booking/paper crafting community.

I am looking for someone to head up the weekly photography challenge.
You do not need to be a professional photographer to do this.
But I would like someone who is excited about taking photos & know their way around their camera.
You would have to come up with a weekly idea of what we should photograph.
You can see what we have been doing here http://www.scrappingthemoments.com/index.php?topic=2267.0
If you are interested please send some of your photos, ideas you might have for the challenges, a little about yourself,
and if you have a blog please send me a link to it, to pat@scrappingthemoments.com  By February 4,2012
If you can't post on the members board or gallery please do not apply.
I am only looking for people who can participate & show interest in our community.

The 2nd position will be doing an ATC challenge. We have just started doing these & there is a lot
of interest in these ATCs by our members. Only apply if you can commit to doing a monthly challenge
and to participate on the message board & gallery. If interested please send me some samples of your
work, especially ATCs you have done & if you have a blog or gallery send a link to that also.
You can send this info to pat@scrappingthemoments.com by February 4,2012.

There is no compensation at this time for our DT members. But there is joy from sharing our talents with others.

Pat Bishop"

If you are interested let her know. Best wishes and spread the word. Thanks!

Relaunch of Our Business

Kelly & Ron Roberts Today, Ron and I are announcing the relaunch of our K. Simone Designs business. For those of you that are new to our work and site, click   ABOUT US   for more information.   In short, we started our business selling my handmade greeting cards in 2011. We sold and donated lots of cards and enjoyed bringing smiles to our customer's faces. In 2019, we took a long break. Since then, art has become my main interest and I have been drawing, painting and improving my skills. Art has been a wonderful outlet and joy for me and I have loved encouraging others with these creations.  So now K. Simone Designs will focus on our Inspired Art business. Our greeting cards are on hold for now but they are still apart of our brand. Also, I will continue to create YouTube papercrafting videos and add more resources to my arts and crafts directory. Our goal with all these creative products is to inspire others with love, hope, joy and peace. Here are so...

My Birthday Blog Party

Welcome to my Birthday Blog Party! I am starting my celebration early to fully enjoy my day. My actual birthday is May 29th but why not start early right? :) When I think of birthdays past, they were always such exciting times for me. Many of my birthdays were celebrated with fun parties from my childhood to my young adult years. I loved all of those special parties and to this day, I still love it. Maybe this is where my love for event planning all started. At my 3rd birthday, my parents gave me a big one. I don't really remember but the pictures are so cool. I had lots of kids there, a clown, a little merry-go-round ride and lots of games. I had a white little outfit on and was looking so cute for a Spring party. Boy, I looked so happy! Also, I was brave not to be afraid of the clown, too. My mom was holding me as I blew the candles out. Another year, I had my first slumber party. That was so fun! I invited several friends and ...

Happy Hearts

Today I will be sharing one a several painting I recently finished. This one is one of my favorites. I wanted to try two faces and just love how they turned out. It was fun going crazy with the multi-colored background. The hearts were made using my new favorite thing to make from toilet paper rolls- STAMPS.  I saw them on Julie Balzer's blog. Toilet Paper Tube Stamps  Then I used my fingers to paint the inside of the hearts. So neat! Take a look and I hope you feel the love and joy in this piece. Aren't the afro's fabulous!!! LOL! They were my first try and look pretty darn good. The little girls afro puff is so cute and reminds me of the ones I had as a child.   I love the hearts on their clothes. I used my stencil to make the design then painted around just to show the insides. Hope you enjoyed and come back this week to see some other paintings. Have a good one!
