Happy Fall! Last Summer I took a cupcake decorating class at Michael's and I loved it. It was really great to learn the basics. This was all new to me and I was excited to try it out. All Summer I wanted to make more but the weather got too hot to bake so I had to wait. Finally we had a break with some cooler temps and I was able to get back to these yummy treats.
I made two of my favorite colors: happy sunny yellow and hot pink. Oh, and they tasted good too.
Have you tried cupcake or cake decorating before? Isn't it like art? Maybe that is why I love it. Now I can't wait to make some more. Thanks for stopping by!
Wow, Kelly, these look wonderful. You make beautiful roses! I love the brightness of the colors. You just don't get that with the liquid food coloring drops you get at the grocery stores. These are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh YUMMY! these are so pretty you would hesitate eating them!!! I am not very good decorating with icing. I guess I should practice but have never taken the time to do it! You are just loaded with creative juices!
ReplyDeleteThey look beautiful and yummy! I did take a cupcake class from a friend of mine and absolutely LOVED it!

ReplyDeleteThese look so delicious.
ReplyDeleteMy youngest daughter worked in the bakery at our local supermarket and picked up a few tips...she loves to back cakes and decorate them.
I have always wanted to take a cake decorating class, but have yet to try my hand at it.
Wishing you and your hubby a very happy holiday and blessed new year!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly!
