NEW VIDEO: My Husband Scrapbooks With Me- His 1st Time

When I started creating YouTube videos last year, I thought about having my husband Ron join me on a tutorial. So I am happy to announce that he made his video debut in this NEW video called, "Husband Scrapbooks With Me." This was his first time scrapbooking! He was a little nervous but once we started filming he was a pro. He assisted me in making this popular layout that was featured in the gallery of  Scrapbook.com earlier this month. They featured it for a week! So, I thought it would be fun to show you all how I made it plus an easy design for my husband to learn from. I hope you stop and see how we did in our first video together! Also, we chatted about our Christmas last year. VIDEO LINK HERE We had a good time making this video and layout together. Maybe he will come on another video this year. Fingers crossed! LOL! Have a great day and be inspired!

Christmas Projects- A Layout, Videos & Journal Page

Happy Holidays! I hope you and your family are having a peaceful and joyful holidays. I sure am! Before Christmas, I finished up several projects. I posted two new YouTube videos, a scrapbook layout and a few traveler's journal notebook pages. Let me start with the scrapbook page. Every year, my husband and I love taking pictures in front of our city's Christmas tree. After I saw these pictures, I was inspired to make this layout with several trees. I hand cut the triangles into various sizes to resemble trees. I used Kaisercraft "peppermint Kisses" paper collection from Scrapbook.com. So exciting to see this layout was featured on Scrapbook dot com's gallery section!!! Next, I created two new YouTube videos. The first is another Julie Nutting tutorial using the "Jessi" and the "Phoebe" stamps in my traveler's notebook. So fun! Link HERE Learn how to make this page in the video tutorial. Also, I shared an inspirational message about JOY! Th...

Personal Writing- A Musical Message in the Grassy Lawn

2020 has been an overwhelming year filled with losses, grief, anger, fears and uncertainty.  We are living through unprecedented global times.  Quarantine life has made us all homebodies and chefs. (Anybody else grateful for food but tired of cooking??? LOL!) Our home has become an office, gym, filming and art studio, restaurant, shopping center and movie theater. We have learned how to “Zoom” “Hangout” and “Skye.” Many of the nation’s kids are going to school online and my prayers are with all the parents that must handle that each day. Whew! My husband Ron and I have held on to each other and God like never before. In the mist of all this craziness, we are so thankful that God has protected and provided for us. But on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 I was having a tough day. I’ve been managing the year’s stress ok but this day I was really feeling overwhelmed and struggling to deal with it all. I prayed about it and expressed my heavy emotions to the Lord. Then, I decided...
