Christmas Mini Album Card Up Close Part 3

Hey there! Hope you had a nice day. Well, as promised, here is the third mini album card I made for Christmas. This one was for my in-laws. They really loved it. So did I! I really enjoy mixing traditional scrapbook items with pictures and typed text.  So many of my card insides have this combination.

Supplies: My Mind's Eye patterned paper & title, Maya Road envelope, green glitter letters & stickers by K& Co., flowers and leaves.

    Wow! That's one gorgeous mini! I looove all the flowers and the gorgeous MR envelope! Also, those stunning MME papers...so pretty and sparkly!
    It all comes together in a perfect little album! Gorgeous work!

My Birthday Blog Party

Welcome to my Birthday Blog Party! I am starting my celebration early to fully enjoy my day. My actual birthday is May 29th but why not start early right? :) When I think of birthdays past, they were always such exciting times for me. Many of my birthdays were celebrated with fun parties from my childhood to my young adult years. I loved all of those special parties and to this day, I still love it. Maybe this is where my love for event planning all started. At my 3rd birthday, my parents gave me a big one. I don't really remember but the pictures are so cool. I had lots of kids there, a clown, a little merry-go-round ride and lots of games. I had a white little outfit on and was looking so cute for a Spring party. Boy, I looked so happy! Happy Hearts

Today I will be sharing one a several painting I recently finished. This one is one of my favorites. I wanted to try two faces and just love how they turned out. It was fun going crazy with the multi-colored background. The hearts were made using my new favorite thing to make from toilet paper rolls- STAMPS.  I saw them on Julie Balzer's blog. Toilet Paper Tube Stamps  Then I used my fingers to paint the inside of the hearts. So neat! Take a look and I hope you feel the love and joy in this piece. Aren't the afro's fabulous!!! LOL! They were my first try and look pretty darn good. The little girls afro puff is so cute and reminds me of the ones I had as a child.   I love the hearts on their clothes.
