More Cards for Mothers

I have enjoyed making all these Mother's Day cards. I have used Prima's Meadowlark patterned paper collection on all these cards. It have been a fun challenge to see all the different ways I can mix and match these patterns.

We have got several orders and will be busy this week finishing a few more cards and shipping them out. So excited!

Wish you could see this in person. This lavender rhinestone slider is so pretty. I like mixing jewelry type pieces with my crafts.

I really like the green ribbon on this one.

Green glitter paper is so fun to use. Just makes this card a little fancier!

This one has green glitter paper also. Can you see it?

Love using this Prima paper with the sheer leaves, velvet like flower and the bling swirls. So lovely!

    These are so pretty, Kelly. I love the tulle bow and the rhinestone slider. Any mother would be delighted to receive one of these. You do beautiful work.

Our Romantic Anniversary Dinner

Happy Thursday! I hope your week has been great.  Today I wanted  to share some of our wedding anniversary pictures with you.  Last Sunday, my hubby arranged for us to have a romantic dinner at the very place where we had our wedding reception.  I was so excited when I found out that they set up a table for us to have the whole banquet room to ourselves.  How great was that??? The restaurant is right on the bay and has the most spectacular  views.  So when we arrived they had a table set up for us right by the windows so we could get an even better view.  They had the rest of the room set up for an event but I still could remember how it looked the night of our wedding with the lights and the dance floor.  Plus the left side of the room is nothing but windows so you can see more of this secluded bay. Happy Hearts

Today I will be sharing one a several painting I recently finished. This one is one of my favorites. I wanted to try two faces and just love how they turned out. It was fun going crazy with the multi-colored background. The hearts were made using my new favorite thing to make from toilet paper rolls- STAMPS.  I saw them on Julie Balzer's blog. Toilet Paper Tube Stamps  Then I used my fingers to paint the inside of the hearts. So neat! Take a look and I hope you feel the love and joy in this piece. Aren't the afro's fabulous!!! LOL! They were my first try and look pretty darn good. The little girls afro puff is so cute and reminds me of the ones I had as a child.   I love the hearts on their clothes. I used my stencil to make the design then painted around just to show the insides. Hope you enjoyed and come back this week to see some other paintings. Have a good one!
