Today I will be sharing one a several painting I recently finished. This one is one of my favorites. I wanted to try two faces and just love how they turned out. It was fun going crazy with the multi-colored background.
The hearts were made using my new favorite thing to make from toilet paper rolls- STAMPS. I saw them on Julie Balzer's blog. Toilet Paper Tube Stamps Then I used my fingers to paint the inside of the hearts. So neat!
Take a look and I hope you feel the love and joy in this piece.
Hope you enjoyed and come back this week to see some other paintings. Have a good one!

Aren't the afro's fabulous!!! LOL! They were my first try and look pretty darn good. The little girls afro puff is so cute and reminds me of the ones I had as a child. |
I love the hearts on their clothes. I used my stencil to make the design then painted around just to show the insides. |

Kelly, these are beautiful. I love what you did with the toilet paper tubes. It reminds me that my heart cookie cutter is a tuna fish can with both ends cut out, that my dad bent into a heart back in the 50's. Mom used it for many years and then gave it to me and I used it while my children were growing up. It's amazing what "found" objects can do. I love your background and your cute afro styles. You are doing amazing work. Keep it up and KEEP SHARING!
